Part of Earth & Form — Series I, a collection of five original long-format artworks, the piece explores the relationship between mineral material, organic texture, color and vertical composition.
Soft blush, rose, coral and ivory tones move across the wood surface, contrasted by the irregular forms of natural stone and shell elements. Clear quartz, pink dolomite, sunstone and seashells were individually selected and arranged by hand to create depth, relief and visual movement.
The narrow 28-inch vertical format gives the work a distinctive architectural presence, making it especially suited to an entryway, hallway, bedroom, gallery arrangement or other narrow wall space.
Each work in Earth & Form — Series I has its own palette, materials and composition. The series consists of five individual original artworks rather than reproductions or editions.
